Frequently Ask Questions
Daycare FAQ

What types of vaccines do you require?

We require prior to their visit that all pets have written proof from a licensed veterinarian of the following:

Rabies: Every 3 years (first vaccination effective for 1 year)

Bordetella (Canine Cough): Every 6 months / 1 year (depending on vet & vaccine)

*Must be administered at least 7 days prior to check in*

Distemper (DHP/DAP/DHPP): Every year / 3 years (depending on vet & vaccine)

*We do not accept home vaccinations, handwritten vaccinations,  or breeder vaccinations.

Is doggie daycare necessary?

Dogs are pack animals that depend on social interaction, physical activity, and enrichment. It is important for you to socialize and give your dog structure. Only two choices are available for pet parents, socialize them in dog parks/dog friendly areas where vaccination/health status is unknown and dog's behaviors are not fully assessed, or take them to doggie daycare where we provide a structured, convenient, and safe place for your dog to learn social skills while playing and exercising.

Keep in mind, however, that if your dog is reactive (common among dogs who were not socialized at a young age),

daycare may not be in the your dogs best interest

How old does my dog need to be?

All guests must be a minimum of 6 months/24 weeks old. Any dog over the age of 8 months must be spayed/neutered.

What do the dogs do all day?

Our climate-controlled inside areas allow for year round play, which is carefully supervised by staff. Our trained staff members are certified in CPR. The majority of the day consists of making friends and playing.
