Boarding FAQ

What types of vaccines do you require?

We require prior to their visit that all pets have written proof from a licensed veterinarian of the following:

 

Rabies: Every 3 years (first vaccination effective for 1 year)

 

Bordetella (Canine Cough): Every 6 months / 1 year (depending on vet & vaccine)

*Must be administered at least 7 days prior to check in*

 

Distemper (DHP/DAP/DHPP): Every year / 3 years (depending on vet & vaccine)

*We do not accept home vaccinations, handwritten vaccinations,  or breeder vaccinations.

What should I bring?

Food:  Dogs do best when kept on a consistent diet. Be sure to bring their food portioned in ziplock bags and labeled for feeds (AM, PM, Lunch). Please do not bring large dog food bags as we do not have the storage to keep them. Long term guests (7+ days) may have bags of food.

Note: If requested, we will provide our in-house premium food for a ($3 charge per feed) which is a premium quality food.

Treats: Our guests receive treats throughout the day for no additional charge, however, if you would like your dog to enjoy a special treat from home, we require you to bag the treats with feeding instructions (example. “Give 1 daily before bed’) *No Rawhides/bones or any treats that have a risk of harming your pet when they are unsupervised.

Collars/leash: We do not allow dogs to play with collars or leashes for safety reasons. However if you would like your dog to go home wearing a collar or leash please provide the item upon check in.

Blankets/Beds: Feel free to bring 1 blanket/comfort item for your dogs enjoyment The item will be kept in their private room for the duration of their stay. Our hotel will provide your dog with a luxury bed. We ask that you do not bring a pet bed from home as we strive to maintain a comfortable spacious suite for your pets stay.

 

Toys: You are welcome to bring up to 2 toys but for safety reasons they must be made out of rubber or plastic (Kong Toys, rubber balls, etc) Please make sure all belongings are in an enclosed bag labeled with their name. (note, all damages done by your pet is not our responsibility)

 

Medication: Medication must be in the original packaging from your veterinarian with prescription dosage instructions (We can only administer pills and edible prescriptions). We will not be able to administer medications outside of our normal business hours. This service is included for all guests at no additional charge!

How old does my dog need to be to board?

All guests must be a minimum of 6 months/24 weeks old.

 

If my dog is not dog friendly (or not fixed), can you still board them?

Yes, non-dog friendly guests can still come visit us. They must still be 100% people friendly as we will put them on a personal playtime schedule. Individual play time is an additional $10 per night per dog. For the owners who selected personal playtimes with staff over all day daycare, your dog will have 3 potty breaks (Morning, Noon, Evening). Additionally, they will receive three playtimes times with staff that will be filled with activity and 1 on 1 attention.

*We do not allow dogs that are not spayed/neutered at our facility.

What time can I check in and check out?

Check-in times are available to be scheduled when booking your pets stay. Each day check-out time is noon. Your first night will apply on the day of check-in. Picking up your pet after noon checkout time will result in a half-day of daycare cost added to the total stay.

Is there staff at the facility 24 hours a day?

Our staff is on site from about 6:30-7:00 AM to about 6:30-7:30 PM every evening. While your dog sleeps, we insure that we have secured the facility, additionally we have cameras and the proper safety systems to maintain look out for emergencies. We do not have staff exploring the facility overnight to ensure a stress-free stay.
